Rolling Rock
Rolling Rock, an American legend. Delicious. Many people have imbibed this delicious piece of Americana. It is a true American beer just as much so as Budweiser from Busch or Miller. It's a classic that has never really enjoyed the popularity of the big boys, but it has its dedicated fans. Its taste is unique, very spicy for the average drinker, but not offensive. The American hops are the secret. Many people have confused this spiciness with saltiness, by I assure you that it is in fact hops you are tasing. Using the waters from a mountain spring/river, Rolling Rock has a clean fresh taste that nearly all will enjoy. I don't know what the alcohol content is, but this stuff can get anyone drunk in under 12. No doubts about that. While not as strong as many of the "MicroBrews" it is pretty high for a mass-produced beer. (You try to make just one glass of beer.) It is easy going down, despite its zestiness, and it is easy to get yourself into trouble when drinking this fantastic example of what American beer can be, many will say the Europeans make it better, but I have two words for them...
